October 06, 2023 – Wind Study | Answer 9

Is everyone still responsive and alert? Now that you understand how to measure blood pressure and blood oxygen levels, you’re well on the way to becoming an EMT! Check the answers below to find out how you did.

And be sure to share this educational series on Facebook and Twitter!

You can actually stay home for this field trip! One Energy enjoyed partnering with Ohio Energy Project for their fourth annual virtual field trip (VFT) at the North Findlay Wind Campus. For this VFT, One Energy Educational Engineer Kevin took students on a tour through our laydown yard where they got an up-close look at turbine components and learned all about wind energy – all from the comfort of their home or classroom! The tour allows students from anywhere to join in, learn from real-world professionals, and gain real-time answers to any questions they may have.

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos of this year’s tour. Hope to see you log in for the next one!

Revisit this year’s VFT on YouTube.

In the meantime, be sure to share this educational series on Facebook and Twitter.

Wind View | Control Room Construction

One Energy’s new state-of-the-art control room was not your average renovation project, but that didn’t stop our Field Engineers Vuyiswa and Zhuoran from knocking it out of the park!

For this week’s Wind View, we photographed them installing the last of the control room’s 21 monitors! Our photos might not do their work justice – but who knows? It could be the topic of our next Day in the Life series. 😉
