For this week’s Wind View, we’re flipping the script.

Here is a behind-the-scenes view of One Energy’s Storytelling team in action. Using a camera and a creative eye, our team captures imagery and creates the materials essential for communicating with our audiences. From beautiful landscapes of our Wind for Industry projects to video interviews of our staff that allow viewers to get to know our team, we support all departments.

One Energy is the prepared soccer mom when it comes to equipment. Our service trucks are fully stocked to maintain efficiency and effectiveness during our operations. The compartments you see along the truck (much like a mom’s purse) allow for transport, storage, and easy access to many useful tools and safety gear at our various sites.

You can see in this week’s Wind View that the leaves are changing colors at the North Findlay Wind Campus. As the seasons change, the weather gets cooler and the aroma of pumpkin spice fills the air, the turbines on campus get a beautiful golden backdrop as they continue spinning through the seasons and providing customers with clean, on-site power.

At One Energy, everyone works together, no matter what department. In this Wind View, you can see storytelling and facilities team members working together to install some turbine decals. But why are we putting names on the side of our turbines?

We proudly award annual scholarships to local high school seniors pursuing degrees in STEM fields at a 2- or 4-year accredited college. And each scholarship recipient is celebrated by having their name permanently displayed on the turbine!

The Megawatt Scholarship program has awarded more than $500,000 to date.
