In this industry, we often find ourselves working in rural areas, where having all the required tools for the job on-site is crucial – which is why our construction team deliberately built out these service trucks to do just that. These vehicles are custom-outfitted to keep tools easily accessible and organized while on the go. These compartment designs also stop tools from moving around while driving.

March 25, 2024 – Wind Study | Question 4

This week’s Wind Study questions are sure to pull you in. Learn how One Energy uses simple pulleys and tension when rigging up wind turbine components for safe transportation and construction.

Be sure to check back on Friday for the answers!

Have you ever wondered what the future of heavy-duty transportation might look like? In this week’s Wind View, we look closer at one of the electric semi-trucks in One Energy’s “Just Roll” trial program, the Daimler eCascadia!
One of the first things you’ll likely notice is that rather than having a traditional semi-truck diesel engine, this truck is powered by large battery packs. Some other notable features of electric semi-trucks include a spacious cabin with gearless operation and remarkably low ambient noise.
Electric semi-trucks represent a new standard for sustainable transportation – and with One Energy’s “Just Roll” program allowing drivers to test them out, we can’t wait to see what these possibilities mean for the future!
