Analyst (Finance Track)

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the business development team related to the development, construction, and operations of wind turbine projects. This position will be provided an opportunity to work with and potentially rotate to other disciplines within the project lifecycle (construction, engineering, finance, operations) over a 24-month period.


  • Build and maintain project cash flow models for projects ranging in size from $5 million to $10 million
  • Perform research and due diligence on projects to support business development
  • Support project and corporate financing efforts including modeling and due diligence
  • Support external reporting requirements to institutional investors
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support One Energy’s business operations

Report-to manager will be determined per rotation; no immediate supervisory responsibilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, or engineering; MBA a plus but not required
  • Experience working with capital intensive industries (energy, construction, manufacturing) is helpful
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and business principles essential
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Patience, persistence, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Must be comfortable solving problems that have never been solved
  • Strong Microsoft Excel modeling skills; familiarity with multi-dimensional cash flow models and macros
