What We Do

What We Do

One Energy is the largest installer of on-site wind energy in the United States. We develop, engineer, procure for, construct, operate, and finance behind-the-meter wind projects for large energy users through a service we call Wind for Industry®. On this page, learn why we’re the experts in distributed generation wind and find out exactly what we do at One Energy.

One Energy Provides Solutions

Until recently, on-site generation wind projects were not possible for large commercial and industrial electricity consumers. One Energy developed proprietary assessment tools, solved the technical issues, and leveraged our big wind relationships to make wind possible for our industrial and commercial customers.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive solutions to make on-site generation wind projects hassle free and profitable for large electricity consumers.

One Energy provides comprehensive wind solutions for our customers. We perform the necessary evaluations to determine if wind is right for your facility and provide the services to create a Green Campus® property and to take a Wind Campus® project from concept to installation – and all steps in between.
Our management team has installed more than 1,000 utility-scale wind turbines with a combined output in excess of 2,000 MW. We have managed more than $1 billion in construction assets for some of the largest and most complicated utility-scale wind projects in the world. We are responsible for the successful development, engineering, procurement, and construction of the two largest commercial net-metered wind projects in the United States. Each Green Campus® alternative energy facility provides significant energy savings and profitable solutions for our customers.
One Energy has a proven operational history with large companies who demand the best. Our unique proprietary assessment and project delivery tools allow One Energy to reduce costs, expedite delivery, and execute projects of the highest possible caliber and quality. Our methods are designed to make realizing a wind project as simple as possible. Our approach minimizes risk, ensures projects are fully auditable, and reduces the commitments of time and energy required from our customers.

Safety And Quality

Wind energy can significantly advance the way your company manages the cost of electricity. When you put wind to work for you, the financial benefits can be staggering; however, profitable results are only possible when safety and quality come first.

One Energy sets the highest standards possible for safety and quality to ensure the success of every project. From the technology we select, to the services our staff and partners provide, our standards must be beyond reproach. Our commitment to safety and quality extends well beyond our written plans and extensive training — we consider safety and quality to be fundamental principles of our company.

One Energy projects have yet to experience a single recordable or lost-time accident.

We believe that safety is not a competition, and to prove that, we are making our entire safety program available for use by others.

The One Energy team has helped author wind turbine tower rescue programs for various companies and has trained contractors, technicians, and fire departments around the country in wind turbine tower rescue.
