Meet our team of experts who make wind simple by providing comprehensive wind solutions based on their experience, expertise, and relationships. These are the One Energy innovators.
GENERAL MANAGER AND CEO
As General Manager and CEO of One Energy, Jereme is ultimately responsible for the delivery of all One Energy projects and the success of the One Energy family of companies. Prior to founding One Energy in 2009, Jereme ran construction of several of the world’s largest wind projects. During his tenure in big wind, he grew frustrated with the inefficiencies plaguing the industry.
Believing there had to be a better approach to wind projects, Jereme founded One Energy. It was this same innovative spirit that drove the creation of the Wind for Industry® concept for installing utility-scale wind turbines behind the meter for private industry customers. As a result of Jereme’s vision, One Energy was responsible for approximately 30% of all distributed wind energy installed in the United States in 2015 and is currently responsible for more than 10% of net-metered wind energy in the United States.
One Energy is now a vertically integrated company delivering handshake-to-handshake on-site wind projects, including 100% self-perform construction. In 2016, Jereme led a groundbreaking round of fundraising that raised $80 million of institutional financing to continue growing One Energy’s fleet of projects.
Chelsea started at One Energy as an intern, and has rapidly progressed to Project Manager. Chelsea’s responsibilities include safety, procurement, reporting to customers, managing construction methods and crews, quality assurance, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. She sees the projects from start to finish and is the key contact for all site activities.
Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. She is an Engineer In Training (EIT), Emergency Medical Technician, and certified instructor for First Aid/CPR. She has taught tower rescue and advanced rope techniques to firefighters from all over Ohio.
Chelsea has contributed to the installation of over 25 MW of net-metered wind generation facilities, including the three largest behind-the-meter wind projects in the country.
